How to Contact us

Our Media and Communications office is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We provide accurate, up to the minute information concerning Council policy and the issues affecting the Borough of Southend-on-Sea.

During normal working hours (9am to 5.30pm) media professionals should contact us by telephoning 01702-215000 Ext 5939.

If you need to contact a member of the Media and Communications Team out-of-hours you can do so by telephoning 07788-428213. 

If the matter you wish to discuss is non-urgent you can contact us via e-mail at media@southend.gov.uk and we will respond as soon as we are able. Freedom of Information Act requests can also be sent to this e-mail address.
