Outdoor activity centres

Visit Southend Marine Activities Centre and enjoy a great selection of watersports and other outdoor activities.

In a fantastic beachside location on Southend's Eastern Esplanade the centre has a excellent reputation of providing nationally recognised watersports courses, including introductory courses in Sailing, Canoeing, Windsurfing, Powerboat Driving and Jetskiing. A wide range of improver training is available through formal courses or more informal practice sessions and expeditions.

It doesn't matter what experience you've had previously. Our staff are trained to help you get the most out of your time on the waves - whether you're an absolute beginner, looking to take the next step or ready for some adventure.

The Centre holds an annual Open Day in April where you can try the various Watersports on offer for free.
