I need to report a change in my circumstances, a move or apply for benefit or a discount
Applications for Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Reduction can only be submitted through a MySouthend account.
If you already have an account please log in to it and go to the the ‘Benefits’ section in the menu to access all the online forms.
If you do not have an account you will need to register. To register you will need to have an email address. If you do not have one or if you need help to get one please see the I need support with setting up a MySouthend account page.
The Registration process is quick and simple, if you require further assistance please view the MySouthend Registration Information pdf:
Step 1 – Over 4 stages you will need to enter your email address, name, date of birth, address and then create your password.
Step 2 – An activation email will be sent to the registered email address giving an activation code. Please check your spam folder for this email.
Step 3 – Log back into MySouthend or follow the link provided in the email and enter you email address and the password that you created in Step 1.
Step 4 – You will be prompted to the activate your account page. Click the link and enter the activation code from your email and submit. Your account is now live.
Once activated you will be able to use the online forms. These can be found listed under the relevant department in the MyForms section.
