Southchurch Hall Historic House

Information

Southchurch Hall is situated in attractive gardens and scenery which even boasts its own Moat!

The venue is dated back to the early 14th century and offers interesting interiors laid out in a series of period rooms including a great open hall reflecting life in the later Middle Ages and a Tudor kitchen with a magnificent fireplace.

The building includes fine features with its timbered ceiling and can seat up to 40 guests for a wedding ceremony. The house, gardens and archaeology are a green oasis captured in time – giving you the perfect location to capture your wedding photographs.

Please view our corporate venues and ceremony guide, for all the information you need to know about holding your ceremony or corporate event in one of Southend’s excellent venues.
