Registering to vote

To register to vote, please go to www.gov.uk.

Alternatively, you can telephone your application through to Southend-on-Sea electoral services on 01702 215010, or request that an application form is sent out.

The deadline for registering to vote for this election is Tuesday 18 January 2022.

Voting by Post or Proxy

If you do not wish to attend a polling station on polling day to cast your vote, you can apply to vote by post or proxy.

The deadline for a new postal vote or to amend or cancel an existing postal vote is 5pm on Wednesday 19 January 2022. This is also the deadline for making changes to or cancelling an existing proxy vote.
