What elections are taking place in 2023?
Local Government elections
On Thursday 4 May 2023 local elections will be held to elect Councillors to Southend-on-Sea City Council.
The local election gives voters the opportunity to vote for a councillor for the ward they live in.

Parish or Town Council elections
Elections for parish councillors to Leigh-on-Sea Town Council, if contested, will also take place on Thursday 4 May 2023.
