The Launchpad
As part of the development, the Council have created a new innovation facility hub called ‘The Launchpad’. This has been funded by the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) Local Growth Fund.
The Launchpad is the first building to champion real innovation in the area for both:
- start-ups
- SMEs
Having opened in late 2022, we are already realising the vision for it be a hub of business activity.
The building was:
- designed by Architects BDP
- constructed by Morgan Sindall
Spanning a total of 3,254 square meters, it consists of three floors which feature:
- offices
- workshops
- research facilities
- break out spaces
- a café
- a seminar space
