Volunteering with Early Help, Family Support and Youth Offending Services
Early Help, Family Support and Youth Offending Services are recruiting volunteers to support children young people and families in Southend-on-Sea.
We have a number of community roles working within:
- children/young adults
- community garden/weekend co-ordinator volunteers
- youth offending reparation
- admin roles
- kitchen assistant/barista
We have a variety of flexible administration roles available. Duties will range from reception work involving welcoming visitors to our centers, giving information and taking telephone calls to filing and upkeep of databases.

If you have a non-judgmental attitude and a positive approach, are a good communicator and understand the limits of the volunteer role, then volunteering with Early help, Family Support and Youth Offending service could be for you.
How to apply
To apply complete the online application form, we will then contact you to take up references after which you will complete an enhanced DBS and attend an interview.
Please note all volunteers will be expected to complete an online safeguarding children course.
