Weddings-on-Sea - The Royal Pavilion

Various photos of the pier and weddings at the Royal Pavilion

The Royal Pavilion is a truly inspiring venue located on the longest pleasure pier in the world. It offers you the beautiful sea air of Southend-on-Sea and the amazing views over the Thames Estuary.

With its unique location and stunning modern design juxtaposed against the Victorian architecture of the Pier, the Royal Pavilion is fast becoming one of the most sought-after venues in town and provides a magnificent setting for a truly memorable wedding. The venue accommodates up to 120 guests and gives you the opportunity to have your Wedding and Reception in one location.

Images of The Royal Pavilion can be viewed in our Royal Pavilion Flickr album.

To start proceedings, hop aboard your dedicated Pier Train with your guests and enjoy the views as you’re taken over a mile out to sea to the Pier Head – arriving at your venue in style.

Historical Fact: The Pavilion was officially named in a unique ceremony conducted by His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, on Tuesday 16th July 2013.

To arrange a viewing and to discuss your requirements further, please call one of the Pier’s Wedding Specialists on 01702 215620.

Once the team have confirmed a date with you, please ensure you book the Registrars to attend your wedding and complete the Provisional civil wedding booking form. This will take a £100.00 deposit which will be deducted from the final balance.
