Men’s Motivational Group

A welcoming group that offers a wide range of activities including snooker, and provides an opportunity for socialising.

Volunteers provide much needed support to the group by assisting with the snooker games, creating conversations, working on puzzles and games. Handing out tea/coffee and biscuits. 

This role does require an enhanced DBS check.

Activity group

This group provides socialisation, fun and creative activities in a friendly and supportive environment.

Volunteers assist with the setup of the space; settle people in, assist with making tea/coffee. Encourage participation in various activities, and provide topics for group discussion/ peer conversations.

Music and Memories

This is a fantastic group that offers the chance of reminiscence through song. A perfect singing voice is not essential, lyrics and percussion instruments provided.

Volunteers help with setting up the space, issuing name stickers, handing out song sheets, encouraging participation, making tea/coffee and handing out biscuits.

Work from home Activity Planner

Volunteers help provide resources for the Activity Group, such as quizzes, games and colouring in. A variety of abilities need to be catered for, so materials might need to be adapted for individuals. Items need to be sent over at least once a month to keep things fresh, and interesting.
