Go online anytime! Revamped MySouthend enables residents to report, view and pay for council services online.

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has revamped its online reporting tool, MySouthend, giving customers the ability to manage a huge number of their council services online.
Residents can now, in one place; report key issues e.g. potholes and fly tips; apply for licenses; and pay for services eg parking permits and council tax. Once registered, residents can keep track of their service requests and will receive automated alerts when requests have been completed, reducing the need to call the council for updates.
The upgraded MySouthend gives power to residents to proactively manage their transactions with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, and to quickly and easily report or respond to local issues. Issues are immediately delivered to the relevant department so they can be acted upon, and the customer will be automatically updated via email, giving residents a 21 century service.
Customers can also register to receive e-newsletters covering weekly council news and plans, local business and investment news, news specific to their own ward or local area, and news on opportunities to get involved and have their say.
Councillor Lesley Salter, cabinet member for healthy communities and wellbeing said, “With so many services now online, MySouthend is fast becoming the place to manage transactions with the council. If you live in the borough, I urge you to sign up today. While you’re there, in the interest of the environment and to help us save on postage costs, please do consider opting out of paper bills and use e-billing for your council tax. I’d like to ask everyone to log in and check they have opted out of paper bills, even if they previously received their bills online.
