Help guide the future of former East Beach café site
Published Thursday, 23rd January 2020
The Council would like to know what local people, visitors and businesses would like to see at the site of the former East Beach café which is owned by the council.
The survey launched last month lists a range of options and asks whether people would like to see a café/restaurant or a mix of facilities that could include a community hub selling refreshments. The survey closes on Sunday 26 January.

Cllr Ron Woodley, cabinet member for investment, says: “This is a great location and an exciting opportunity for a new development that serves both local people and visitors.
“There are a range of options that could be considered and we want to know what people want to see there. I encourage people to take part in the short survey which will help us think about how we take the site forwards.”
Once the survey ends, key themes will be collated and used to help the council decide what to do next with the site.
