2imprezs is an EU funded project through the Interreg North Sea Region programme. It aims to work with schools to help them become more energy efficient. The project helps reduces their carbon emissions and the cost of energy bills in the process.
Working with 20 primary schools across the City we aim to help them reduce their energy use by 30%.
Energy savings will be achieved through a pupil-led behaviour change programme. Students take steps to reduce their energy use. E.g. ensure all lights and computer screens are turned off when they are not in use.
It will be supported by an energy saving scheme agreed between us and the school. With a series of energy saving technologies delivered to the schools, including energy efficient lighting and solar panels.
