The Council acquired the freehold of the Victoria Shopping Centre in December 2020 into its commercial property portfolio.
The Victoria provides the Council with an important strategic land holding at the end of the High Street, adjacent to the Better Queensway Development area and just opposite (and linking to) Victoria Railway Station.

Monday to Saturday - 9am to 5.30pm
Sunday 10am to 4pm
The Victoria also has over 500 public car parking spaces accessed off Chichester Road - the tariffs and opening times can be found on the Victoria Shopping Centre website. Also it is important to note that the Southend Pass is not available at the Shopping Centre Car Park. The Car Park stays open after the centre is closed so can be used for example for visits to the Cinema or the High Street too.
