Colleges and Sixth Forms - Southend Roadster
- Roadster is a Road Safety scheme for local schools and sixth forms.
- Young drivers and soon-to-be drivers aged 16 to 17 have opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, highlighting the risks and responsibilities of driving.
- It is a day-long event and covers hazard perception, peer pressure, drink driving, seat belts and legal issues.
- Students also have the opportunity to drive a car under the supervision of a qualified, professional driving instructor.
