From Wednesday 6 January 2021 Southend Libraries will be closed.
Click and Collect will continue to operate from all branch libraries between 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, and from The Forum between 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm; during which time your selections and reservations may be collected.
Existing loans have been renewed to Monday 31 March 2021.
For essential PC use only, the People's Network is available at The Forum, through an advance booking system. Please book your 1-hour, self-service slot, by telephoning 01702 215011. Please note staff will not be available to assist the People’s Network access.
Measures are in place to ensure your safety and that of our teams: face coverings should be worn whilst in the library and admission is limited to aid social-distancing. Sanitizing stations are conveniently situated within the library.
Click and Collect
Our 'Click & Collect' service will continue for those customers who would like to receive a reading selection made by our knowledgeable and experienced teams. We will select up to 7 items from your specifications and arrange a convenient time for you to collect.
