Paying for Parking by Phone

While motorists can still choose to pay by card or cash, paying to park by phone is a quick and easy way to pay.  Motorists simply need to download the MOBON app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play, and purchase the time and location of the ticket you require. We recommend you download the app and register before arriving to save time.

Alternatively, you can visit the MOBON website create an account and log in each time you park. Signing up to the service is simple to set up and once registered, it only takes a few clicks to pay for a ticket.

There are no charges to use the service and you receive a free text or email to remind you when your parking is near to expiry. If you want to stay for longer than you had originally planned, you can simply top up your payment from your phone, without having to walk back to the parking meter.

All Council-owned pay and display areas and car parks across the town are available for pay by phone payments. Once you register, all the available locations will be shown on the app.
