Health Walks in Southend
Walking the Way to Health
This is a national initiative which aims to improve the health and fitness of more than one million people, especially those who have little or no exercise or those who live in areas of poor health. The scheme brings together those with the common interest of walking, so they can support and encourage each other and enjoy the whole experience of both rural and urban walks. The scheme is supported by the British Heart Foundation, South East Essex Primary Care Trust as well as the Countryside Agency.
