Connexions provides a wide range of educational and support programmes for young people.

Personal Advisors offer one to one support to young people in need of some extra help.

Youth Workers help organise a diverse selection of youth groups, activities and experiences.

Where can I find Connexions?

You can access the service through

• Your secondary school or college. Each secondary school and college in the Borough has a linked personal advisor. Speak to your teacher or lecturer and they will advise how you can get in touch.
• Visiting one of our centres, for opening time details and information about what's on in your area please call your local centre.

Southend Connexions website offers access to a wide range of services available to young people aged 13-19 across the Borough. In an innovative and fun way the website brings together access at the click of a mouse to all services delivered by Connexions. This includes

• updates and information on the youth work facilities that are offered.
• new events and activities
• information, advice and guidance on a vast range of issues and topics affecting young people. 
• External links to a range of social networking sites, such as facebook, twitter, youtube & flickr which are already in place to showcase the fantastic work that we at Southend Connexions do.

The website will also have a comprehensive list of part and full-time education, training and employment opportunities available to young people across the Borough, along with apprenticeships.
