The Southend Advantage Card offers you reduced prices for a range of activities such as swimming, golf and concerts (discounts off memberships at any of the Council-run leisure centres are not applicable with an Advantage Card), access to special promotions and additional discounts for certain special events and discounted rates for donated seats.
The following list shows where an advantage card can be used. Please note, this list is subject to change at any time:
- Belfairs Golf Course (Advantage Card C only)
- Belfairs Swim Centre
- Foreshore Moorings (personal use only, not for commercial moorings. One mooring per advantage card holder / household maximum)
- Shoeburyness Leisure Centre
- Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre
- Southend Pier
- Planetarium
- Arts Team Concert Series
- Cliffs Pavilion (category C on selected performances only)
As of 1 July 2026, Freedom Leisure (FL) will no longer honour advantage card rates. FL manage the following leisure centres, where the discount will be withdrawn:
- Belfairs Swim Centre
- Shoeburyness Leisure Centre
- Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre
FL provide their own discounted rates and anyone interested in finding out more need to contact FL.
