If you have been affected by the tragic murder of Sir David Amess, or the upcoming anniversary of this, please reach out and talk to someone. There is lots of support here in Southend, and nationally, so please do take care and make contact if you need to. Below are some local and national contacts that are here, ready to speak to you.

Therapy for You provide talking therapy in Southend and Castle Point and Rochford.
Refer yourself by calling 01268 739128 or email epunft.contactcentre.iapt@nhs.net. Your GP can also refer you.

Support for Councillors
The murder shocked the whole community and people are here to help you too. Please do contact friends, family and colleagues if you need to speak about the tragic events of 15 October 2021, or to get advice. The employee assistance programme is still available to you and has people ready to speak to you at any time. Alternatively, please do seek support from other colleagues and your political party if needed.
