Parks and open spaces consultation now live

We have launched a consultation to find out what you want to see in your parks and open spaces, and how these areas could better meet your needs.

Path next to water in Southchurch Park.

The consultation is now live and open to all residents, visitors and businesses in the Borough, and set to run until Wednesday 15 September 2021.

The survey feedback will provide the information needed to help plan the future management and delivery of park’s services.

Cllr Carole Mulroney, cabinet member for environment, culture, tourism and planning said: “Our parks and open spaces have always been admired by those who use them. Recently we have seen more people than ever visiting those areas for exercise, meet-ups and fresh air.

“The council are now seeking the public’s views on how we can better utilise those spaces to better fit the user’s needs, and help us plan for future parks and open spaces services.”
