We are aware of the increase in scams that circulate, particularly so at this time of the year.
It appears that some customers are receiving fraudulent text messages claiming to be about Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), with a link to pay via Gov.uk.
Please be aware:
- this is a scam - we will never send text messages about PCNs, and Gov.uk will never contact you regarding parking penalty charge notices
- genuine PCNs are only issued as a physical ticket on your vehicle or as a letter sent to the registered keeper's address
- if you receive such a text, do not click any links or provide any payment details - please delete it
