Parking scam alert

We are aware of the increase in scams that circulate, particularly so at this time of the year.

Hands resting on a table holding a mobile phone.

It appears that some customers are receiving fraudulent text messages claiming to be about Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), with a link to pay via Gov.uk.

Please be aware:

  • this is a scam - we will never send text messages about PCNs, and Gov.uk will never contact you regarding parking penalty charge notices
  • genuine PCNs are only issued as a physical ticket on your vehicle or as a letter sent to the registered keeper's address
  • if you receive such a text, do not click any links or provide any payment details - please delete it
