Note: Southend Registration Service reserves the right to retain 50% of the certificate fee if you have supplied the incorrect information and applied to the wrong district or if you decide to cancel your order.
Certificates
- Standard (full) birth, marriage, civil partnership or death certificate at time of registration and any subsequent certificates issued - £12.50
- Short birth certificate on the day and any subsequent certificates issued - £12.50
- Recorded/signed for delivery - £6.00
- Special delivery - £10.00
- Priority certificates (next working day certificate if ordered before 3pm). If posted will be sent the following working day - please choose from: recorded/signed for delivery - £6.00 or special delivery £10.00 (Note: alternatively collection from Registration Service , Ground Floor, Civic Centre is free of charge) - £38.50
Marriage and civil partnership ceremonies
Notice of Marriage to the Superintendent Registrar - £42
- Limited availability ( includes attendance of the Superintendent and Registrar) - £56
- Separate fee of £12.50 for each marriage/civil partnership certificate if required

Jubilee Room
