Note: Southend Registration Service reserves the right to retain 50% of the certificate fee if you have supplied the incorrect information and applied to the wrong district or if you decide to cancel your order.
Certificates
- Standard (Full) Birth, Marriage, Civil Partnership or Death Certificate at time of Registration and any subsequent certificates issued - £11.00
- Short Birth Certificate on the day and any subsequent certificates issued - £11.00
- Recorded/signed for delivery - £3.80
- Special Delivery - £8.75
- Priority Certificates (Next working day certificate if ordered before 3pm). If posted will be sent the following working day - please choose from: recorded/signed for delivery - £3.80 or special delivery £8.75 (Note : Alternatively collection from Registration Service , Ground Floor, Civic Centre is free of charge) - £35.00
Marriage and civil partnership ceremonies
Notice of Marriage to the Superintendent Registrar - £35.00
- Limited availability ( includes attendance of the Superintendent and Registrar) - £46.00
- Separate fee of £11 for each marriage/civil partnership certificate if required
Victoria Room fees details (includes attendance of Superintendent and Registrar)

- Friday and Saturday - £395.00
- Separate fee of 2 x £11 for two marriage/civil partnership certificate, if required.
Jubilee Room
