Southend Young Person Drug and Alcohol Service (YPDAS)

Open Road offer support to young people who would like help to stop vaping or smoking.

To access this support you must be:

  • between the ages of 10 and 29
  • a parent or carer who has concerns about their child vaping

The core service can provide one to one support for those who:

  • are experimenting
  • are habitually using
  • feel addicted to a substance such as nicotine through vaping or smoking

Youth Vaping is on the rise, but working with our Youth Council, partners, and resident's we can:

  • raise awareness
  • provide resources
  • offer early advice and intervention to support young people to make healthier choices
