Centre Information

Southend Marine Activities Centre is able to offer a huge range of courses. Our fully-trained team are experts in their field and have a wealth of experience in helping a broad range of people develop new skills, as well as gain an appreciation of safety in the water and a boost to their confidence. We also provide shore-based courses to complement the activities we run on the water and help give you a full understanding of your chosen discipline.

We are keen to react to local needs and work together with local organisations and agencies, such as watersports clubs, the R.N.L.I., H.M. Coastguard and our colleagues across Southend-on-Sea Borough Council to ensure that essential safety training is available.

The Centre can be booked for children's parties. You'll find our prices are competitive and that the kids love doing something a bit different on their special day. Go on, splash out and have that party with a difference.
We have also introduced course vouchers either for a fixed amount, or to pay for the whole of a particular course. These can be personalised with the recipients name and used to provide a special surprise present for a friend or relative.
