Car tyres are not classed as household waste and have to be disposed of through a specialist re-processor. Our contractor offers a chargeable service to collect and correctly dispose of an unwanted car tyre for £12.50 per tyre, this cost will reduce depending on the number being collected. Please note this service is not available for commercially produced tyre waste or for businesses, it is only available to householders. Please contact the Waste Management Team for more information.
