If you live on a classified road, it is likely you will need planning permission before a vehicle crossover can be constructed. To search to see if your road is classified, either enter your road name or area, for example Southend-on-Sea or Leigh-on-Sea to see a list of roads within that area. If your road does not appear in the area list or you receive a “Sorry, no content available” result when searching for your road then your road in unclassified.
