Southend-on-Sea Council Wedding Venues - The Victoria Room
The Victoria Room
If you want a small group of family and friends but still want a wedding that is personalised to you then you are in the right place. This venue may be of interest to you if you are on a slightly smaller budget but still want to enjoy the comfort of your own music choices, readings and personal vows in a modern and intimate setting.
The air conditioned ceremony room provides a classical setting and is tastefully decorated with our colour scheme of dusky pink and cream complemented with beautiful fresh flowers, an art deco chandelier and beechwood panelling. This venue seats up to 26 guests and we conduct these weddings Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
After your ceremony has concluded and the confetti has been thrown you can take a short walk to Churchill Gardens where your photographer can be let loose with the surroundings of attractive greenery and water features. The venue is also a close distance to our famous Seafront where you will be spoilt for choice for a Traditional Afternoon Tea, Fish and Chips or an ice cold beverage.
Before booking any ceremony you should always ensure you understand the procedure of giving your ‘Notice of Marriage’ and how you should go about booking your wedding.
You can find information on this by going to our Documents and Legal Formalities.

On completion of this form it will ask for a deposit amount of £50.00 which will be deducted from the final payment.
