The Leigh-on-Sea Business Expo 2025 has been praised as another fantastic showcase of Southend’s thriving business community, with dozens of exhibitors and visitors attending the event.
The event, organised by the Business-on-Sea team at Southend-on-Sea City Council in partnership with Leigh-on-Sea.com, offered local entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals the chance to connect, collaborate, and share opportunities for growth.
Opening speeches were delivered by The Mayor of Southend, Cllr Matt Dent, and Alan Richards, the Executive Director for Environment and Place, who highlighted the importance of partnership working and community-led business development.
Cllr Matt Dent, cabinet member for business, culture, music and tourism, said:
"It's been fantastic to see the Leigh-on-Sea Business Expo build on the success of Southchurch earlier this year. Events like this give our local businesses the chance to connect, share ideas, and celebrate everything that makes Southend a great place to do business. A big thank you to Leigh-on-Sea.com, our partners and exhibitors, and everyone who came along to make this event another great success."
