Do you have good quality unwanted items that are just too good to throw away?
The Reuse shop at Stock Road accepts a wide range of items including:
- furniture
- electrical items
- TV's
- glass ware/crockery and bric 'a' brac
By passing unwanted items to the shops, you are:
- helping to stop items being sent to landfill
- reducing waste
- helping to protect the environment
Please check the opening times if you are thinking of visiting as the shops can be busy, particularly on Saturdays.
A new scheme has recently started that will see bicycles that come into the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) refurbished then sold on through the shop.
If you are thinking of disposing of good quality items, please bring them to either shop or visit if you are interested in purchasing second-hand items.
Unfortunately the shop cannot accept some items, examples include:
- safety equipment e.g. Child car seats and motorcycle helmets
- upholstered items without the 1988/93 fire label
- stair gates
- broken toys
- carpets
- any sort of weapon
