Applying for an Advantage Card
Who can get one?
Anyone who lives in the Southend Borough can get a Southend Advantage Card.
The cost and types of cards available
The following tables give details of the different types of Advantage card available.

*Please note that low income is defined as being in receipt of benefits.
How do I apply/renew a Southend Advantage Card?
Complete the application form on-line attaching the requested evidence. If you are unable to attach this you can send it by email or send into the address further on this page quoting your reference which you will be supplied with at the end of the application.
The card will be sent out to you within 5 working days of the documentation and payment being received.
Evidence
- proof of Southend address
- passport-size quality photograph
- proof of age
- if applicable recent proof (no older than three months) of a receipt of one of the following: ESA, jobseekers allowance (ES40), Universal Credit, housing benefit, working tax credit, income support, council tax reduction, severe disablement allowance, disability working/living allowance, PIP, attendance/carer’s allowance, or Pension Credit Guarantee Credit.
