Council events
In addition to the events held by Southend BID, the Council hosts a variety of community attractions or celebrations that include:
- LuminoCity (light festival)
- City Jam (street arts festival)
- Halloween Parade
- Armed Forces Day
Private events
The High Street and seafront can also accommodate private event organisers. Typically these events include:
- business promotion
- exhibitions
- community wellbeing
- charity awareness
Event locations:
- Victoria Circus
- Royal Square
- City Beach
- High Street area between Clifftown Road and rail bridge (charities only)
- Other (subject to the discretion of both the Council and the multi-agency Safety Advisory Group)
