The Southend participating pharmacy scheme
If you are ready and motivated to quit, a flexible walk-in service is available at any of the following participating pharmacies.
To be part of this scheme, you are required to
- Pay a one-off prescription fee (unless exempt).
- Register, and set a quit date within one week from registration.
The offer
The Service will fund weekly combination Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) (patch and one oral NRT) for 12-weeks.
Commitment
- You must be ready and motivated to complete the programme.
- You are required to attend weekly appointments at the Pharmacy.
- You will receive weekly NRT on the basis that you remain smoke free.
- You may be asked to provide an on-site Carbon Monoxide test as part of your programme.
