Types of travel plan
Types of travel plan include:
Interim travel plan
This is prepared when the exact scale and range of uses cannot be identified at the planning application stage.
Framework travel plan
This is a larger travel plan where information is taken to prepare smaller, individual plans for each stage of the development. It sets out the basic principles for the site.
Full travel plan
This is prepared where the expected use and access needs are known. It will be designed to suit the needs of the occupier, including:
- residents
- school or college students
- employees
Travel plan statement
This is for smaller developments. It can take the form of an action plan arranged by the developer or occupier of the site.
