What do I do with old batteries?
After the festive season, many of us have extra waste to deal with, including batteries from toys, gadgets, and decorations.
Important: Never put batteries (including vape batteries) in your wheelie bins. They can cause fires and pose a serious safety risk.
How to recycle batteries:
- most supermarkets and DIY stores have battery collection bins
- Household Waste Recycling Centres at Leigh Marshes and Stock Road
