Childcare

Families may be able to get free childcare:

  • working parents with children aged 9 months to 4 years up to 30 free hours a week
  • not working and child aged 3 to 4, 15 free hours a week
  • some 2‑year‑olds may qualify for free childcare

Childcare is safe and supportive.

Children learn through play and meet new friends.

Types of childcare include:

  • nurseries
  • pre-schools
  • childminders
  • after‑school clubs

School places

Children aged 5 to 16 must go to school.

Guests need to fill in one form for all children.

You can:

  • use our school map
  • ask us for advice
