Bereavement services fees and charges
Crematorium service fees 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026
- full memorial service and cremation* (9am to 3:30pm) South or West Chapel - £1100
- committal family attendance and cremation* (9am - South Chapel) - £880
- committal no family attendance and cremation* (8:45am - South Chapel) - £545
- interment in garden of remembrance (cremated elsewhere) - £197.80
- storage of cremated remains after 3 months - £40 per calendar month
Note that these cremation fees include:
- all professional services relating to the administration and registration at the crematorium, in line with regulations
- use of chapel and waiting room with the assistance of trained members of staff
- the provision of Obitus music/visual tribute system during the funeral (please contact the crematorium for details of our available options or refer to miscellaneous charges)
- medical referee fees and environmental fees if applicable
- scatter or interment within the garden of remembrance within 12 months of cremation or preparation of ashes for their removal along with the cremation certificate
*Any person under 18/stillborn/24 plus weeks gestation - this charge is not levied on families but is instead claimed back from the Childrens Funeral Fund by the crematorium.
